An Act to repeal the Traditional Beer Act, 1930

ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. Enactment
This Act may be cited as the Traditional Beer (Repeal) Short title
Act, 2011.
(1) The Traditional Beer Act, 1930, is hereby repealed. :Repeal of
Cap. 168
(2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), a person who immediately Act No. 11
of 1930
before the commencement of this Act, held a permit to manufacture,
process or sell traditional beer shall hold such permit for a period
of three months, or for such extended period as the Minister may
determine, after which that person shall apply for a liquor licence
under the provisions of the Liquor Licensing Act, 2011. ; ;Act No. 20
