The Zambia Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Studies (Amendment) Act, 2021

An Act to amend the Zambia Institute for Tourism and
Hospitality Studies Act, 2016. [ 20th May, 2021
ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. 1. This Act may be cited as the Zambia Institute for Tourism
and Hospitality Studies (Amendment) Act, 2021, and shall be read
as one with the Zambia Institute for Tourism and Hospitality Studies
Act, 2016, in this Act referred to as the principal Act. 2. Section 2 of the principal Act is amended by the insertion of
the following new definition in the appropriate place in alphabetical
order:
“Higher Education Authority” means the Higher Education
Authority established under the Higher Education Act,
2013;. 3. Section 5 (1) is amended by the deletion of paragraph (a)
and the substitution therefore of the following:
(a) Conduct training programmes accredited by the Higher
Education Authority of persons in the tourism and
hospitality sectors. Short title
