An Act to amend the Zambia Institute of Diplomacy and
International Studies Act. [24th March, 2021
ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. 1. This Act may be cited as the Zambia Institute of Diplomacy
and International Studies (Amendment) Act, 2021, and shall be
read as one with the Zambia Institute of Diplomacy and
International Studies Act, in this Act referred to as the principal
Act. 2. Section 6 of the principal Act is amended by the insertion
of—
(a) the figure “(1)” between the figure “6”and the word
“Subject”; and
(b) the following new subsections:
(2) The Minister may give the Board general or
specific directions relating to the performance
of its functions and the Board shall give effect
to these directions to the extent that the
directions are not inconsistent with this Act. (3) The Minister may enter into performance
contracts with the Board for a specified period
which shall be consistent with the provisions of
this Act. Enactment

3. Section 7(1) of the principal Act is amended by the deletion
of—
(a) paragraph (a) and substitution therefor of the following:
(a) the Chairperson; and
(b) paragraph (d) and the substitution therefor of the following:
(d) a representative of the ministry responsible for
technical education and vocational training;.
