The Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (Amendment) Act, 2021

An Act to amend the Zambia Institute of Advanced
Legal Education Act. [ 20th May, 2021
ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. 1. This Act may be cited as the Zambia Institute of Advanced
Legal Education (Amendment) Act, 2021, and shall be read as one
with the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education Act, in this
Act referred to as the principal Act. 2. Section 2 of the principal Act is amended by the insertion of
the following new definition in the appropriate place in alphabetical
order:
“Zambia Qualifications Authority” means the Zambia
Qualifications Authority established under the Zambia
Qualifications Authority Act, 2011. 3. Section 4 (2) of the principal Act is amended by the —
(a) deletion of paragraph (e);
(b) deletion of paragraph (f) and the substitution therefor
of the following:
(f) recommend to the Zambia Qualifications Authority,
accreditation and recognition of minimum
required courses to be completed as part of
qualifications of foreign students who wish to
be enrolled as students of the Institute;; and
(c) renumbering of paragraphs (f), (g), (h), (i), (j), (k), (l)
and (m) as paragraphs (e), (f), (g), (h), (i), (j), (k) and
(l), respectively.
