An Act to amend the Supreme Court and High Court
(Number of Judges) Act.

Enactment		ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia.

Short title		1.	This Act may be cited as the Supreme Court and High Court
		(Number of Judges) (Amendment) Act, 2009, and shall be read as 
Cap. 26 		one with the Supreme Court and High Court (Number of Judges)
		Act, in this Act referred to as the principal Act.

Repeal and		2.	The principal Act is amended by the repeal of section two
replacement 		and the substitution therefor of the following new section:

			2.	There shall be eleven Judges of the Supreme Court,
Number of 			including the Chief Justice and the Deputy Chief Justice.
