The Building Societies (Amendment) Act, 2025

An Act to amend the Building Societies Act
[ 19th August, 2025
ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia.
1. This Act may be cited as the Building Societies
(Amendment) Act, 2025, and shall be read as one with the Building
Societies Act, in this Act referred to as the principal Act.
2. The principal Act is amended by the repeal of section 130
and substitution therefor of the following:
130. The financial year of a building society shall be a
period of twelve months, ending on 31st December in each
year.
