The Accountants (Amendment) Act, 2021

An Act to amend the Accountants Act, 2008.

ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia.
1. This Act may be cited as the Accountants (Amendment)
Act, 2021, and shall be read as one with the Accountants Act,
2008, in this Act referred to as the principal Act.
2. Section 5 of the principal Act is amended—
(a) in subsection (2), by the—
(i) deletion of paragraph (e); and
(ii) renumbering of paragraphs (f), (g), (h), (i), (j), (k),
(l), (m), and (n) as paragraphs (e), (f), (g), (h),
(i), (j), (k), (l) and(m), respectively; and
(c) in subsection (3), by the —
(i) deletion of paragraph (c); and
(ii) renumbering of paragraph (d) as paragraph (c).
3. The principal Act is amended by the repeal of section 13.
