An Act to amend the Presidential Emoluments Act

ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. Enactment
1.(1) This Act may be cited as the Presidential Emoluments
(Amendment) Act, 2002, and shall be read as one with the Presidential
Emoluments Act, in this Act referred to as the principal Act.
(2) This Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1 st
April, 2002.
2. Section two of the principal Act is amended by the deletion of
paragraphs (a) and (b) and the substitution therefor of the following
new paragraphs:
(a) a salary calculated at the annual rate of K54,437,388; and
(b) a special annual allowance of K44,373,864.
