An Act to amend the Penal Code
[11th August, 2022
ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia.
1. This Act may be cited as the Penal Code (Amendment)
Act, 2022, and shall be read as one with the Penal Code Act, in this
Act referred to as the principal Act.
2. The principal Act is amended by the repeal of section 14
and the substitution therefor of the following:
14. A child under the age of twelve years is not criminally
responsible for an act or omission.
