An Act to amend the Notaries Public and Notarial Functions
Act. [ 31st August, 2009
ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia Enactment
This Act may be cited as the Notaries Public and Notarial Short title
Functions (Amendment) Act, 2009, and shall be read as one with
the Notaries Public and Notarial Functions Act, in this Act referred Cap. 35
to as the principal Act. The principal Act is amended by the repeal of section thirty- Repeal and
one and the substitution therefor of the following new section: replacement
of section
31. (1) The Registrar shall, upon the grant to any 31
legal practitioner of Letters Patent of the rank and dignity of State
State Counsel for Zambia, cause the name of the legal Counsel for
practitioner to be entered on the Roll of Notaries Public. Zambia to
