 An Act to amend the Lands and Deeds Registry Act
                     [19th November, 2010

ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. 

1. This Act may be cited as the Lands and Deeds Registry          Enactment
(Amendment) Act, 2010, and shall be read as one with the          Short title
Lands and Deeds Registry Act, in this Act referred to as the      Cap. 185
principal Act.  

2. Section two of the principal Act is amended by the insertion   Amendment
in the appropriate place of the following new definition:         of section 2

"Lands Tribunal" means the Lands Tribunal referred to under 
      section three of the Lands Tribunal Act, 2010;.             Act No. 39

3. Section eleven of the principal Act is amended by the          Amendment
deletion of the words "Court or Judge" wherever they appear and   of section 11
the substitution therefor of the words "Lands Tribunal, Court or
Judge".

4. Section eighty-one of the principal Act is amended by the      Amendment
deletion of the words "Court or Judge" wherever they appear and   of section
the substitution therefor of the words "Lands Tribunal, Court or  81
Judge".

5. The principal Act is amended by the insertion, immediately     General
after the word "Court" wherever it appears, of the words "or      amendment
Lands Tribunal".
