Industrial and Labour Relations (Amendment)

An Act to amend the Industrial and Labour Relations Act. [22nd December, 2017
ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Industrial and Labour
Relations (Amendment) Act, 2017, and shall be read as one with
the Industrial and Labour Relations Act, in this Act referred to as
the principal Act. (2) This Act shall come into operation on 1st January, 2018. 2. Section 14 (1) of the principal Act is amended by the insertion
of the words “ on payment of the prescribed fees ” immediately
after the word “ name ”. 3. Section 15 (1) of the principal Act is amended by the insertion
of the words “ on payment of the prescribed fees ” immediately
after the word “ Act ”. 4. Section 36 (1) of the principal Act is amended by the insertion
of the words “ on payment of the prescribed fees ” immediately
after the word “ formation ”. 5. Section 48 (2) of the principal Act is amended by the insertion
of the words “ on payment of the prescribed fees ” immediately
after the word “ subsection (1) ”. 6. Section 49 (1) of the principal Act is amended by the insertion
of the words “ on payment of the prescribed fees ” immediately
after the word “ Act ”.

Section 49 (1) of the principal Act is amended by the insertion
of the words “ on payment of the prescribed fees ” immediately
after the word “ Act ”.

7. Section 65 (3) of the principal Act is amended by the insertion
of the words “ on payment of the prescribed fees ” immediately
after the words “ register the agreement ”.
8. Section 70 (1) of the principal Act is amended by the insertion
of the words “ on payment of the prescribed fees ” immediately
after the word “ Commissioner ”.
9. Section 73 (1) of the principal Act is amended by the insertion
of the words “ on payment of the prescribed fees ” immediately
after the words “ in that behalf ”.
