An Act to amend the Housing (Statutory and Improvement
Areas) Act

ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. 1. This Act may be cited as the Housing (Statutory and
Improvement Areas) (Amendment) Act, 2010, and shall be read
as one with the Housing (Statutory and Improvement Areas) Act,
in this Act referred to as the principal Act. 2. Section three of the principal Act is amended—
(a) by the deletion of the definition “ Court ”; and
(b) by the insertion in the appropriate place of the following
new definition:
“ Lands Tribunal ” means the Tribunal provided for
under section three of the Lands Tribunal Act,
2010;. 3. Section thirty-three of the principal Act is amended by the
deletion of subsection (3). 4. The principal Act is amended by the insertion, immediately
after section forty-six, of the following new section:
46A. A person aggrieved with a direction or decision of
the Minister or a registrar may appeal to the Lands Tribunal
within thirty days of receiving such direction or decision. Amendment
