An Act to approve the excess expenditure of moneys aggregat
ing eighty-three billion, three hundred and forty-one mil
lion, one hundred and thirty-five thousand, one hundred and
seventy-seven kwacha required for the services of the Re
public during the financial year which ended on 31st De
cember, 2005.

ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia.
1 . This Act may be cited as the Excess Expenditure Appropria
tion (2005) Act, 2008.
2. The expenditure on the services of the Republic during the
financial year which ended on 31st December, 2005, of the mon
eys indicated in respect of the services in the third column of the
Schedule, being expenditure in excess of the moneys appropriated
for the services by the Appropriation Act, 2005, and the Supple
mentary Appropriation (2005) Act, 2007 is hereby approved.
