An Act to amend the Criminal Procedure Code

ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. Enactment
1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Criminal Procedure Code short title
(Amendment) Act, 1997, and shall be read as one with the criminal ^ ' i m m c m c n l
Procedure Code, in this Act referred to as the principal Act.
(2) This Act shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1 st
February, 1997.
2. The principal Act is amended, in section two hundred and Amendment
twenty-one, by the addition after paragraph (b) of the following new ^ f 0

(c) Any fee paid into court, under paragraph (b), as a fine, in
respect of a road traffic offence under the Roads and Cap. 464
Road Traffic Act. shall be paid into the general revenues
of the Republic.
