1. This Act may be cited as the Public Officers and Government
Departments (Change of Titles) Act. 2. Whenever the title of a public officer set out in the first column
of the First Schedule to this Act occurs, either specifically or
by implication, in any Act mentioned opposite thereto in the
second column of the said Schedule, or in any proclamation,
rule, regulation, by-law, order, notification, notice, direction
or other instrument made under that Act, the title shall be
deemed to be replaced by the title set out opposite thereto in
the third column of the said Schedule. 3.

4. The Minister may, by order published in the Gazette, amend
the Schedules to this Act by adding to or varying the same, and
upon publication of any such order, whenever any title set out
in the first column of the said Schedules as so amended occurs,
either specifically or by implication, in any Act mentioned
opposite that title in the second column of the said Schedules,
or in any proclamation, rule, regulation, by-law, order,
notification, notice, direction or other instrument made under
that Act, the title shall be deemed to be replaced by the title set
out opposite thereto in the third column of the said Schedules. 5. [Omitted.]
