AN ACT to amend the Road Traffic Act, 2004 (Act 683) to reduce the penalties for motor
traffic offences and for related matters.

Section 1—Road Traffic Act Amended
The Road Traffic Act, 2004 (Act 683) is amended by the substitution for the penalties for the
offences specified in that Act and listed in cloumn 1 of the Schedule to this Act, of the penalties
specified in column 2 of the Schedule to this Act.
