ACT 693 National Council on Women and Development (Repeal) Act, 2005 ACT 693 NATIONAL COUNCIL ON WOMEN AND DEVELOPMENT (REPEAL) ACT, 2005 ARRANGEMENT OF SECTIONS SECTION 1. 2. Repeal ofN.R.C.D. 322. Transitional and savings provisions. ACT 693 NATIONAL COUNCIL ON WOMEN AND DEVELOPMENT (REPEAL) ACT, 2005’ AN ACT to repeal the National Council on Women and Development Decree 1975, (N.R.C.D. 322) and to provide for related matters. 1. Repeal ofN.R.C.D. 322 (1) The National Council on Women and Development Decree, 1975 (N.R.C.D. 322) is repealed by this Act. (2) The National Council on Women and Development shall be a decentralised de partment of the Ministry of Women and Children’s Affairs. (3) The designation of the head of the department shall be Director on conformity with what pertains in the Civil Service. 2. Transitional and savings provisions (1) Despite the repeal ofN.R.C.D. 322, the assets and liabilities is respect of the properties vested in the National Council on Women and Development under the Na tional Council on Women and Development Decree, 1975 (N.R.C.D. of the properties vested in the National Council on Women and Development under the Na tional Council on Women and Development Decree, 1975 (N.R.C.D. 322) immediately before the repeal of the Decree and the persons employed by the Commission shall be transferred to the Ministers of Women and Children’s Affairs established under the au thority of the Civil Service Law, 1993 (P.N.D.C.L. 327). (2) Despite the repeal ofN.R.C.D. 322, the notices, orders, directions appointments or any other act lawfully made or done under the repealed enactment immediately before the commencement of this Act shall be considered to have been made or done under this Act and shall continue to have effect until reviewed, cancelled or terminated. i.
