CUSTOMS, EXCISE (DUTIES AND OTHER TAXES) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2008
An Act to amend the Customs, Excise (Duties and Other Taxes), Act 1996, Act 512 as
amended to abolish import duty on the importation of telephone sets including mobile,
cellular and satellite phones.

ENACTED by the President and Parliament:
First Schedule of Act 512 as amended further amended
The Customs, Excise (Duties and Other Taxes), Act 1996, Act 512 is further amended as
follows:
The import duty on telephone sets including mobile, cellular and satellite phones specified in
the First Schedule is abolished.
