TO AUTHORIZE THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC TO RATIFY
THE PROTOCOL TO THE AFRICAN CHARTER ON HUMAN AND
PEOPLES' RIGHTS ON THE RIGHTS OF OLDER PERSONS IN
AFRICA, ADOPTED IN ADDIS ABABA, ETHIOPIA,ON 31 JANUARY
2016
The Parliament deliberated and adopted,
the President of the Republic hereby
enacts the law set out below:

�ECTION 1: The President of the Republic is authorized to ratify the Protocol
to the African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights on the Rights of Older
Persons in Africa, adopted in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia,on 31 January 2016.
SECTION 2: This law shall be registered, published according to the
procedure of urgency, and inserted in the Official Gazette in English and
French./-
